Competition Winner!!

28th Feb 2026
Our senior room pupils, along with many other pupils in many other schools, were recently invited to take part in an exciting competition to design a logo for the new RESTART Project- an initiative focused on fresh beginnings, positive change and community connection across the towns of Clones, Newtownbulter and Belturbet. The competition challenged pupils to create a design that captured the spirit and vision of this project and the response from all of our senior pupils was outstanding.

We are absolutely delighted to share that one of our talented pupils, Eva (4th class), was selected as the overall winner of this competition! Her creative and thoughtful design perfectly reflected the aims of the RESTART Project, impressing the judges with its originality and strong visual message.

To celebrate the launch of the project, Eva was invited to attend an event held in Newtownbutler Community Centre. During the launch, Eva was presented with a beautiful hamper in acknowledgement of her achievement- a moment she thoroughly deserved.

As an added bonus, Eva’s success has brought an exciting reward for everyone in the school- she has won a whole school, paid trip to the Marble Arch Caves! This generous prize allows all of our pupils the exciting opportunity to explore an amazing natural attraction in Northern Ireland!

We are incredibly proud of Eva’s achievement and of all our senior room pupils who participated in the competition with such enthusiasm and creativity. Well done to everyone involved, especially Eva who represented our school so brilliantly!
