A small glimpse of sunshine and we were straight out to the outdoor classroom to enjoy the first taste of spring!
The children got busy planting a wonderful variety of crops including strawberries, lettuce, beetroot, onions, French beans, potatoes, radishes and more. They also planted strawberry plants and herb trays.
By planting and caring for our crops, we hope the children will learn how food begins in the soil and experience the importance of growing their own food and becoming more self-sufficient!
We are looking forward to sampling our produce!
